Olafeso spoke with newsmen in Akure after inaugurating the Atiku/ Obi Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the visit of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the state today.

The PDP leader said: “We are doing everything to resolve the crisis in both Ogun and Ekiti States.

“I spoke with both parties from Ogun, especially Senator Buruji Kashamu and Ladi Adebutu.

“It is a wonderful development that we have been able to unify our people at this moment. In Ekiti State, peace is a process and we are looking at ensuring that everybody works together.

“Politics is about disagreeing to agree and I am very confident that the main issue is the victory of the party and there is understanding between Ayodele Fayose and Senator Abiodun Olujimi that the PDP must win in Ekiti.”

On the alleged plans by the All Progressives Congress, APC, to manipulate the elections, Olafeso said: “People must be vigilant.”

He said: “We are going to be watchful because whatever happens to Nigeria, happens to the whole world. On our own part, we are educating not only the voters, we are educating members of our party ,our agents that they must pay attention to what they are supposed to do on the day of voting.”

Also speaking, Director-General of the Atiku Campaign in Ondo State, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, said: “We are going to take the message to the grassroots in the nooks and crannies about the brand called Atiku.
